(Please note that with some time of waiting in the dreamwidth queue the entire community including all comments and settings can be moved to dreamwidth.)

Poll #1805782 Move to dreamwidth or stay on lj?
This poll is closed.

As for so many other memes recently, it's time for us to decide now, too. Do we want to move the meme over to dreamwidth or stay on lj?

move to dreamwidth
102(58.3%)
stay on lj
73(41.7%)

I'd also like to say, for those who don't know yet that dreamwidth is going invite code free til the end of the year. However, you can also post without having an account here.

The poll will close January 7th.

There are group invite codes for after January too, right? :3 But those will probably be limited in some way too - so yep, if we're packing up, let's get going this week xD. I made a DW account a few days ago too. :)

As far as I know, DW's layout is somewhat 'er'-inducing, but hello, subject lines and bigger comment limits! xDD

I believe the option to move entire groups and communities to DW is about to be fully implemented this week too...

I'm on the fence, because LJ was so big on fandom. >_< But given the meme's NEED of subject lines and better readability, and that S2 layouts will probably give the threads funny stacking and squishiness, and LJ's stalling over it... Like above anon says, let's make a placeholder comm on DW at least! :3

Out of curiosity, what other comms are moving? :o

My only regret is that I'll have to re-bookmark all these anon fills that I described individually on Chrome. DOUTHITHE xDD

Uh, I'd say lj was big on fandom because the users made it like that. The people who actually RUN lj aren't big on anything. Because I think otherwise they'd know what their users are actually usinng the site for and wouldn't have pulled that bs on us. *grumbles*

I've gotten the feeling that they're actively trying to get rid of us. Can't build up a shiny new social networking site with all these nerdy fandom people around. The Lowest Common Denominator might think it's "too geeky" for them.
